Vernon’s History and related historical preservation is under the perview of 2 groups in our township. One being the Historic Preservation Commission, a township appointed committee of members. The second being the Vernon Township Historical Society, a non-profit group of local resident volunteers. Both groups work to assure that the rich history of Vernon is maintained, shared, and available for residents and visitors alike.
